BREAD PIZZA RECIPE

                                BREADIZZA / BREAD PIZZA / BREAD STUFFED WITH PIZZA TOPPINGS / CONIZZA

INGREDIENTS

  • Bread slices
  • ½ cup finely chopped tomato [ remove seeds ]
  • ½ cup finely chopped onion
  • ½ cup finely chopped capsicum
  • ½ cup boiled corn
  • Tomato ketchup
  • ½ tsp oil
  • Salt as per taste
  • Grated mozrella or cube cheese
  • Oregano pwdr / all herb pwdr
  • Pizza sauce https://maryzkitchen.com/pizza-sauce/
  • butter or mayo as needed

METHOD FOR MAKING THE STUFFING

Take a pan with ½ tsp oil on medium flame.

Add the onion , capsicum ,tomato and corn and stir fry for 1 or 2 mins . [ it should not be watery. Veges have to be crunchy and not soft ]

Saute for 2 minutes. Off the flame before the veges sweat [ leave out water]

Add salt and 1 tbsp ketchup + pizza masala pwdr / oregano + chilli flakes and mix well.

Keep aside to cool.

METHOD FOR MAKING BREAD PIZZA

Take 2 slices of bread.

Apply butter or mayo on one side of both the bread.

Next apply the pizza sauce on top of the butter.

Place the sautéed veges with grated cheese on one of the slice.

Cover it with other slice.

Toast it in a toaster or tava.

Serve hot with sauce.

Pizza sauce

NOTE

  1. You can add olives ,paneer, chicken tikka pieces ,sausages ,salami etc stuffing of your choice.
  2. We are applying butter so that the sauce doesn’t make the bread soggy.
  3. Instead of 2 bread make it on single bread and toast it till cheese melts.
  4. You can bake it in pre-heated oven at 200*C for 5-7 min still cheese melts.
  5. You can also add chilli flakes.
