CORN  CHAAT  / CORN SALAD

CORN  CHAAT 

INGREDIENTS

  • Boiled corn kernels – 2 cup
  • Boiled / roasted peanut – ½ cup
  • Finely chopped onion – 1 small
  • Finely chopped tomato – 1 small [ remove the pulpy part ]
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
  • Green chilly finely chopped – as per taste
  • Red chilli pwdr – ½ tsp
  • Chaat masala – 1 or 1 ½ tsp
  • Grated carrot – ½ cup
  • Pomegranate – ¼ cup [optional ]
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp or as per taste
  • Fine nylon sev for garnish
  • Khatti meethi tamarind chutney – 1 tbsp or as required [optional ]
  • Salt to taste
CORN  CHAAT 

PREPARATION –

  1. Boil or pressure cook the corn kernels .
  2. If using boiled peanuts . Refer here – Peanut chaat recipe

METHOD

Take the boiled corn + peanuts in a mixing bowl .

Add rest of the ingredients one by one as shown in the video.

Mix it well with clean hands or spoon .

Corn chaat / salad is ready to serve .

NOTES

  1. Add ingredients as per your taste . Also adjust quantity of each ingredients as per your likes.
  2. Y not add melted butter .
  3. V can also add cucumber / boiled potato / finely diced capsicum .
  4. Instead of red chilli pwdr , v can use pepper pwdr or chilli flakes .
