DOSA UPMA

INGREDIENTS

  • Left over spongy dosas – 2
  • Onion finely chopped – 1
  • Curry leaves – few
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds + urad dal – ½ tsp
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Idli podi / gun powder / molgapodi – 1 tbsp or as per taste

PREPARATION

Chop or tear the dosas into small pieces.

METHOD

Heat oil in a pan , mustard seeds + urad dal and let it splutter

Add finely chopped onion + curry leaves and fry till translucent .

Add coriander leaves + little salt  and mix.

Add the dosas and mix well .

Add the molgapodi and mix well till all the dosa pieces are coated with it.

Serve hot .

NOTES

  1. You can also add veges like carrot, capsicum ,peas ,corn etc
  2. Y not add tomatoes.
  3. U can also add green chillies.
  4. U can also add ¼  tsp of sambar pwdr to enhance the flavour.
  5. Also try adding sum other masalas.
  6. If your idli podi is less spicy you can add little chilli pwdr.
  7. You can also add little grated ginger .
  8. While tempering you can also add peanuts / cashew /chana dal .
