EGGLESS STRAWBERRY MOUSSE RECIPE
EGGLESS STRAWBERRY MOUSSE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • Fresh cream – 1 /2 cup [ I used tropolite]
  • Fresh strawberry – 7
  • Few strawberry pieces for garnishing
  • Sugar – 1 ½ tbsp [depending on the sweetness of strawberry]

PREPARATION

Wash the strawberries, trim off the leaf part and chop it roughly. Blend it with sugar to a fine puree. Reserve little puree for garnishing and the rest will be used while whipping the cream.

METHOD

Take the fresh cream in a bowl and start blending with a handblender.

Whip till soft peaks are formed.

Add little of the puree and mix well.[ be careful while adding the puree,too much of it can make the mousse sour]

Spoon the mouse into the serving glass.

You can either serve with little puree on the top or bottom of the mouse in a short glass.

Garnish with straw berry pieces.

Refrigerate for minimum 1 hr.

Serve chilled.

NOTES.

  1. Adjust sugar as per the sweetness of the fruit.
  2. Don’t add too much of puree to the cream or else it will become sour.
  3. Don’t whip the cream more.
  4. If the fruit is sweet you can add few chunks of it .
  5. I used tropolite cream which is already sweet , so did not add sugar to the cream.
