FERRERO ROCHER RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • Nutella – ¼ cup
  • Milk chocolate – ½ cup
  • Dark chocolate – ½ cup
  • Hazelnut – 10
  • Cashew nut – ¼ cup [ kaju kani ]
  • Wafer cup or shells – 1 pkt
FERRERO ROCHER RECIPE

PREPARATION

  1. Chop the dark and milk chocolates into small pieces .
  2. Melt it in double boiler .Refer here – How to melt chocolates.
  3. Dry roast the hazelnut for sometime on low flame.[ colour should not change ]
  4. Finely crush the cashews into very small small bits.[not powder]
  5. In a small bowl mix ¼ cup of nutella + ½ cup of melted chocolate.
  6. In the remaining melted chocolate add the crushed cashews and mix well .

METHOD

Fill each wafer cup with Nutella mixture .

Put one roasted hazelnut in one cup and close with another only Nutella filled cup .

Press it gently.

Repeat this with all wafer shells/cups.

Refrigerate for 12 – 15 minutes.

Now take each balls and dip it in the chocolate + cashew mixture .

Using a fork and a spoon coat them well .

Tap off the excess chocolates mixture.

After coating I kept it over the round chocolate moulds.

Repeat this procedure with all balls.

Again refrigerate the coated ball for 10 – 15 mins.

You can double coat the balls once it is set .

Ferrero rocher is ready .

ENJOY !.

NOTES

  1. Instead of mixing Nutella with chocolate ,you can only fill Nutella .It will take more time to set.
  2. Instead of hazelnut you can stuff a roasted almond.
  3. You can double coat the balls for thick covering .
  4. Together with the cashew you can crush few roasted hazelnut also .
  5. Allow the chocolate to set properly in the fridge else it will open .
  6. You can take less of milk chocolate and more of dark chocolate or vice versa depending on your taste.
  7. You get Ferrero rocher wrappers in shops.
  8. You can wrap it in the wrappers or serve in small paper cups.
  9. The remaining chocolate cashew mixture i used it to make cashew chocolates by just pouring it in the mould and setting it..
