Hot chocolate

HOT CHOCOLATE / HOT CHOCOLATE MILK DRINK

INGREDIENTS

• Milk – 2 cup [ full cream or regular ]
• Unsweetened cocoa pwdr – 2 tsp
• Sugar – 1 ½ tsp or as per taste
• Choco chips – 2 or 3 tbsp
• Vanilla essence – ¼ tsp

METHOD

Keep all the ingredients ready before you start .

Boil the milk .

After the first boil ,lower the flame and add remaining ingredients one by one .

Mix well so that all the ingredients blend together well.

Stir and boil it till the chocolate melts completely and the milk thickens a bit .

Off the flame .

Transfer it to serving mugs .[you can also strain it ]

Serve immediately.

NOTES

1. ****You can add a 1 tbsp of fresh cream or milk powder also for more richness and creamier texture .
2. While serving you can make it little frothy and sprinkle little cocoa pwdr on top.
3. I decorated the mug with sprinklers. Spread the sprinklers in a plate .now just dip the edges of mug in melted chocolate or chocolate syrup and place the mug upside down over the sprinklers OR just squeeze little chocolate sauce all over the edges to give a dripping effect .
4. Adjust sugar as per taste.
5. Boil on low flame .
6. Quality of chocolate and cocoa pwdr matters for best result .
7. Some add ½ tsp of corn flour to milk to make it thick .
