Mango milkshake recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • Mango – 1 cup
  • Chilled Milk – 1 ½ cup
  • Sugar to taste
  • Vanilla ice cream

PREPARATION

Peel the mango and chop it.

METHOD

Blend the mango + milk + sugar + 1 small scoop of ice-cream to a smooth textured shake.

Serve chilled in a tall glass topped with ice-cream.

NOTES.

  1. I used kesar mangoes they were very sweet so I did not add sugar.We can use alphonso or any ripe mangoes without fibers.
  2. Use chilled milk.
  3. You can adjust quantity of mango and milk as per your taste and consistency.
  4. Mine was of medium consistency as milk was more than mango.
  5. If using sugar use powdered one .
  6. While adding sugar keep in mind the sweetness of fruit and ice cream.
  7. If not chilled you can add ice cubes while serving but ice cubes changes the consistency on melting.
  8. You can added saffron or cardamom pwdr or finely chopped dry fruits.
  9. Istead of topping with icecream you can also use mango puree.
  10. Instead of adding milk you can just puree the mango and top it with vanilla icecream for variation.
