Mango rose carving

MANGO ROSE CARVING

INGREDIENTS

Ripe mango – 1 medium size [ not soft or pulpy and not big ]

METHOD

Wash the mango and wipe it with a napkin.

Peel it .

Slice it into half nearing the seed .

Take a sharp knife and start slicing thinly horizontally .

Using the help of palms and knife start gathering in a cylindrical row.

*** the slices should stick to each other – should not separate.

Start gently rolling it together as shown in the video and images below.

Gather it into a circular path to form a rose .

Mango rose is ready for garnish .

Can be used to garnish on cakes / puddings cheese cakes / desserts / salads.
