 MICROWAVE BESAN LADOO IN JUST 3 MINUTES

INGREDIENTS

  • Besan /gram flour – ½ cup
  • Powdered sugar – ½ cup or as per taste
  • Ghee – 3 tbsp
  • Broken and fried cashew – few [small pieces ]
  • Cardamom powder  – 1/4 tsp [ 2 ]

METHOD

Take the ghee in microwave safe bowl , add the ghee and microwave on high it for 1 min.

Remove it and add the besan and microwave on high it for 1 min.

Remove , stir well and again microwave on high  for 1 min.

Remove , mix well and allow it to cool for a min.

Add the powdered sugar + elaichi pwdr + cashew and mix well.

Take a small portion of the mixture and roll it tightly into small balls .

NOTE

  1. Be careful while roasting the besan , sometimes it browns from the bottom so mix well each time.
  2. While rolling the balls if you feel its too dry or the ghee is less ,you can add little hot ghee.
  3. Don’t reduce the quantity of ghee given above as ghee enhances the flavour.
  4. I fried the cashew while heating the ghee,but it was not crispy ,so you can fry it separately and add it ]
  5. Adding more ghee gives the shine to the ladoo or it looks dry.
  6. I have mixed in the cashew for crunchiness , you can avoid and just use for garnish
