RICE FLOUR BHAKRI / TANDALACHI BHAKRI / PATHIRI / CHAWAL KE ROTI
- Rice flour – 2 cup
- Water – 2 cup
- Salt as needed
- Oil – 2 tsp
Bring 2 cup of water + salt to boil .
Reduce the flame and slowly add the rice flour little by little and mix well.
Off the flame ,cover the pan and keep aside to cool.
Once it is cooled , remove the mixture and start kneading it by adding the oil
Knead it into a soft dough .
Divide the batter into equal portion and roll it into soft balls.
Take one ball and flatten it in-between the palms.
Dip this in dry rice flour ,dust the rolling board with rice flour .Place the flatten dough on it and start patting it using your clean palms as shown in video or try using a rolling pin.
Roll it into thin or medium bhakris.
Place it on a hot tava .
Apply few drops of water on the top side with your hands.
Let it roast for sometime.
Flip the bhakri and cook on the other side.
Using a cloth or spatula apply pressure on the edges to allow the bhakri to puff.
Once done remove it .
Serve with veg / non – veg gravy or any chutney.

METHOD – 2
Boil water in pan.
Take the rice flour + salt + oil in a big plate.
As the water starts boiling ,slowly start adding it to the rice flour and mix it with a spatula. [ use enough water to knead the dough ]
Once you are able to handle the hot flour mixture start kneading it .
Knead it into a soft dough and continue the above procedure of roasting it.

- The dough has to be soft , only then you can roll it . [knead it well ]
- You can also add freshly grated coconut to the rice flour for variation.
