Tips to cook chicken
- You can either buy a whole chicken or different parts – thigh / full leg / drumstick / only bones for soup / breast / boneless / chicken wings / liver.
- Buy tender chicken – 7 to 10 weeks old.
- Check the odour before buying – foul odour means spoilage .
- Check the colour – it has to be creamy white or deep yellow – not grey
- You can cook chicken using different methods – boiling / steaming / grilling / baking / sauteeing / fried /braised / roasted / poached /
- Don’t keep out ,refrigerate and use when required.You can refrigerate upto 2 days.
- If u want to store for more time then put it in the freezer .
- Clean ,wash and rinse thoroughly.
- Eliminate the excess moisture before cooking by pat drying it .
- Marinate before cooking ,more the marination better the absorbtion of masalas and becomes more tastier.
- Don’t overcook.
- Chop of all the visible fats .
- After removing from freezer ,thaw it in refrigerator .After thawing don’t refreeze it .
