Mushroom salt and pepper stir fry

That’s why they are considered as a superfood. And for those looking for weight loss benefits, mushrooms contain no cholesterol or gluten either.

Mushroom salt and pepper stir fry

INGREDIENTS

  • Mushrooms – 1 pkt
  • Oil – 1 tsp
  • Butter – 1 tbsp + few drops of oil
  • Thinly sliced onion – 1
  • Garlic finely minced – 1 tbsp
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves – ¼ cup
  • Freshly ground pepper pwdr – ½ or ¾ tsp or as per taste
  • Soya sauce – 1 or 1 ½ tsp
  • Salt to taste

METHOD

Rinse the  button mushrooms a couple of times in water and then drain well. Chop the mushrooms .

Pat dry with kitchen napkin .

Chop each into 4 pieces and keep aside.

Heat 1 tsp oil , add the mushroom and give a mix .

Now leave it undisturbed for 5 mins on medium low flame .

Now add salt and  stir fry till there is no moisture .

Remove and keep aside .

Same pan heat butter and add garlic .

Stir fry for few seconds .

Add onion and stir fry till translucent .

Add pepper pwdr and give a mix.

Add coriander leaves and mix well .

Add mushroom and mix .

Add soya sauce and stir fry for a min .

Off the flame and serve as a starter .
