Baby corn Manchurian
BABY CORN MANCHURIAN
INGREDIENTS FOR CRISPY FRIED BABY CORN
- Maida – 3 tbsp.
- Corn flour – 2 tbsp
- Rice four – 1 tbsp
- Baby corn – 1 pkt [ 12 pcs ]
- Capsicum thinly sliced – ½ cup
- Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
- Red chilli pwdr -1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil to deep fry
PREPARATION
- Keep all things ready before you start .

INGREDIENTS FOR THE MANCHURIAN
- Olive oil /oil – 1 tbsp.
- Finely chopped onion – 3 tbsp.
- Finely minced ginger and garlic – 1 tbsp
- Finely chopped green chilli – 1
- Pepper pwdr – ½ tsp
- Tomato ketchup – ½ tbsp
- Soya sauce – 1 tbsp
- Chilli sauce – 1 tbsp
- Vinegar – ½ tsp
- Sugar – ½ tsp [ optional ]
- 1 tsp corn flour mixed with ¼ cup water
- Finely chopped spring onion greens / coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
- Roasted white sesame – 1 tbsp [ optional ]
METHOD
Heat oil in pan ,add minced ginger garlic and stir fry .[ colour should not change ]
Add onions + green chilli and stir fry till translucent .
Add capsicum and stir fry for a min – it should not become soft , it should have the crunch .
Add all the sauces + salt + pepper pwdr + sugar and mix well.
Add the fried baby corn and mix well .
Add the corn flour mixture and mix well .
Stir fry for sometime till the mixture becomes shiny .
Finally add the spring onion greens .
Serve hot as a starter .
