Eggless chocolate pudding
EGGLESS CHOCOLATE PUDDING WITHOUT AGAR AGAR OR GELATIN
RECIPE SOURCE FROM HERE – EGGLESS PUDDING RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
- Unsweetened cocoa pwdr – 2 or 3 tbsp
- Dark chocolate or dark choco chips – 1/2 cup
- Sugar – 1/2 cup
- Rice flour – 1 tbsp [optional ]
- Cornflour – 3 tbsp
- Salt – a generous pinch or 1/8 tsp
- Milk – 500 ml
- Fresh cream – 1/4 cup
- Vanilla essence – 1/2 0r 3/4 tsp
****Note – You can omit the rice flour and increase the cornflour by 1 tbsp to 4 tbsp .
PREPARATION
Take cocoa pwdr + sugar + rice flour + corn flour + salt and mix well , so that all ingredients blend well together .
METHOD
Transfer this mixture to a pan ,add milk and mix well again, so that all ingredients blend together.
Keep the pan on medium flame and start cooking by continuously stirring it .[ keep stirring else it will burn at the bottom ]
The mixture will start bubbling .
Reduce the flame to lowest and add cream + chopped chocolate + vanilla essence and mix well.
Stir and cook for 1 or 2 mins till the chocolate melts completely and the mixture thickens .
Off the flame and bring to room temperature.
Transfer it to any fancy serving glass .
Refrigerate it till it sets for 1 or 2 hrs .
Eggless pudding is ready to serve .
Garnish with few choco chips or whipped cream or dry fruits and serve chilled .
NOTES
- You can take all the ingredients except cream and choco chips in a blender and blend well and then start cooking .
- While adding the choco chips ,why not add a tsp of butter for shiny texture .
