Eggless date and walnut cake
EGGLESS DATE AND WALNUT CAKE
INGREDIENTS
Dates (deseeded) 18
Refined flour(maida) – 1 cup
Baking soda – 1 tsp
Powdered sugar – 3/4 cup
Milk – 3/4 cup
Oil 1/2 cup
Chopped walnuts 3 tbsp
PREPARATION
Firstly, preheat your oven at 180 degrees .
Take the dates in a grinder. Add half of the milk. Grind coarsely. Don’t make a smooth paste. Keep aside.
Sift together flour and baking soda twice and keep aside.
METHOD
Now in a bowl, take oil + sugar. Whisk / beat until well combined.
Add the dates mixture and mix.

Lastly add the chopped walnuts and lightly fold.
Pour in a greased cake tin and bake at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Allow it to cool .
