Palak bread kebabs
PALAK BREAD KEBAB
Hara bhara cheezy bread balls / Hara bhara bread medu vada / Hara bhara bread paneer roll / Hara bhara bread kebab. That too without potatoes – All in one recipe
INGREDIENTS
- 15 Bread slices.
- 1 tbsp ginger + garlic + green chilli paste.
- 1 or 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves.
- 1 cup thick palak puree (boil 1 bunch of Palak for 4 mins and blend it . Don’t make it watery).
- Few long paneer pieces sprinkled with chaat masala . (I kept it plain)
- 1 tbsp cornflour for binding.
- 1/4 tsp amchur pwdr (optional ).
- 1 tsp chaat masala.
- 1 tsp kasoori methi pwdr.
- salt to taste.
- Oil either for deep fry or shallow fry.
- Cheese cubes divided into 4
METHOD
Take each slice of bread one by one and dip one side of it in the puree and keep it aside in another plate.
Now smash the bread with hand and knead it like a dough.
While kneading add ginger -garlic- chilli paste, corriander leaves, cornflour, chaat masala, amchur pwdr, salt .
Divide it into small balls as shown in pic.
Keep it in fridge for sumtime.
Hara bhara paneer roll:-
Take a ball make it flat rectangle keep paneer inside and roll it into cylindrical shape.
Hara bhara cheezy balls :-
Take one ball make a flat circle place a cube of cheese in it and roll it in a ball.
Hara bhara medu vada:-
Take a ball make a flat circle. Make a hole in the center with wet fingertip.
Hara bhara bread kebab:-
Take a ball give any shape, put few cashew on the top.
No need of coating . Shallow fry it.
TIPS
- You can deep fry or shallow fry till they turn light golden brown in colour.
- You can make the balls and keep it ready in fridge and fry it when ever required.
- For kids avoid green chilli paste.
- Add pepper pwdr. Serve hot with sauce for breakfast, starters ,tiffin box ,snacks etc.
- Kids loved it.
