HOMEMADE PEANUT NUTELLA

INGREDIENTS

  • Dark chocolate – 100 gms
  • Peanuts – 50 gm
  • Cooking oil without smell – 1 tbsp
  • Unsweetened Cocoa pwdr – 2 tbsp
  • Powdered sugar – 2 tbsp
  • A tiny pinch of salt

METHOD

Dry roast the peanuts till golden brown ,don’t burn.

Allow it to cool completely.

Remove the skin.

Melt chocolate in microwave or double boiler mthod.

Take the peanuts in a mixie jar and grind it into a smoothpaste .

Now add the cooled melted chcolate + oil + sugar + cocoa pwdr and grind well till it becomes smooth and silky .

Peanut Nutella is ready to use.

Spread on plain / toasted bread or chapati or dosa or just lick it .

Store it in a clean airtight container

NOTES

  1. Instead of peanut ,use hazelnut .
  2. At room temperature ,you can store for 2 weeks.
  3. U can add few drops of vanilla essence .
  4. You can strain it ,to discard the grainy nuts – to get smooth Nutella.
