Khus milkshake
KHUS MILKSHAKE RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
- Khus syrup – 1 tbsp or 1 ½ tbsp
- Chilled milk – 1 cup
- Sabja seeds – 1 tsp
- Vanilla icecream – 1 ½ scoop or as required
PREPARATION
- Soak the sabja seeds in water for minimum 10 mins or more to swell .
- Boil ,filter and cool the milk . It has to be chilled .
METHOD
Take chilled milk + khus syrup + 1 scoop vanilla icecream in a big mixie jar and blend it till frothy .
Take a glass , pour the frothy khus milk .
Now add 1 or 2 tsp of soaked sabja seeds .
Top it with vanilla icecream and serve chilled.
NOTES
- Sabja seed is optional .
- Before making you can keep the milk in freezer for sometime , so that it becomes very chill .As I don’t like adding ice cubes .
- Instead of khus syrup you can use roohafza /rose syrup and make rose milkshake .
- You can also add fruits like tadgola or lychee which are transparent.
- It has to be served chilled.
- Use syrup as per your taste .[ how strong you want the flavour to be ]*** remember even ice cream is sweet ,so add syrup accordingly .
- Use filtered milk , so that there are no cream / malai in the milk .
- You can also add thinly sliced almonds .
