MUTTON KOFTA CURRY

Mutton Kofta is a simple yet delicious delight for meat lovers. Keeme Ja Bhalla recipe is a traditional Sindhi Mutton dish that is finger licking good. Mutton keema is shaped into balls and cooked in a scrumptious bhuna masala of fried onions and tomatoes. Serve it with some bhuga chawal for a satisfying Sunday meal.
Non veg kofta curry (Indian meatball curry) is prepared with either with mutton or chicken mince with the addition of spices. The meatballs are slow-cooked in succulent onion tomato gravy. This can be served with rotis or rice.

METHOD
Heat 2 to 3 tbsp oil in a cooker .
Add the ground onion paste + salt and mix well .
Cover partly and cook for 5 mins till oil separates. [ stir in between ]
Lower the flame , make small small balls of kheema and place it.
Don’t stir .
Now add ½ cup water , cover and cook for 2 or 3 whistles .
Off the flame and let the pressure release .
Open the cooker .
The koftas will hold shape .
again keep it on medium flame .
Add tomato puree and mix well .
Cook till oil separates
Now add ½ cup water give a gentle mix .
Pressure cook for 2 whistles .
Turn off the flame let the pressure release .
Give a nice mix.
Transfer the Keeme Ja Bhalla a serving bowl and serve hot.
Serve Keeme Ja Bhalla along with Phulka / Sindhi Bhuga Chawal .
