PARFAIT is basically different kind of food layered in alternate layers and served without mixing . it is in a tall, narrow, short-stemmed glass
It can be your breakfast or lunch / dinner / dessert
I mostly like to make parfait for breakfast , where in i layer healthy ingredients like fruits / chia seeds / basil seeds / dry fruits / shrikhand / flavoured yoghurt etc
After layered serve it chilled without stirring [ mixing ]
They’re most often prepared in tall glasses known as parfait glasses and are typically made with layers of ingredients.
Parfait describes two types of dessert. In France, where the dish originated, parfait is made by boiling cream, egg, sugar and syrup to create a custard-like puree which is sometimes served in a parfait glass. The American version includes more ingredients like granola, nuts, yogurt and liqueurs made in combination with a topping of fruits or whipped cream that are layered and served in a tall glass. The oldest known recipe dates back to 1892.
