DOSA MADE WITHOUT FERMENTATION / SOFT SPONG DOSA / CURD DOSA /PERUGU DOSA
A dosa is a rice pancake, originating from Southindia, made from a fermented batter . It is somewhat similar to a crepe in appearance. Its main ingredients are rice and urad dal , ground together in a fine, smooth batter with a dash of salt. Dosas are a typical part of diets throughout South India, but the dish is now popular all over .
Here in this recipe we are making dosas without fermentation .
Curd dosa /soft dosa recipe made with curd, rice and lentils. These curd dosas are a version of set dosa or sponge dosa and give nicely soft textured dosas. These are called as curd dosa as more curd is added in the recipe. Addition of curd gives a nice sour taste in these dosas.
