THIN CRUST TAVA PIZZA

INGREDIENTS FOR THE BASE DOUGH
METHOD FOR THE BASE DOUGH
Take the warm water + sugar + yeast + sugar in bowl . Mix the mixture well , cover and keep aside for 10 mins till it becomes frothy. The yeast should dissolve completely and the mixture should double in quantity.
Add this mixture to the flour + salt + olive oil + warm water and knead it into a soft dough.
Cover it with a wet cloth and keep aside for minimum 1 hr or more, for the dough to rise.
INGREDIENTS FOR TOPPING
METHOD
After 1 hr again knead the dough again by punching.
Either divide the dough into 2 small balls to make 2 small pizzas .
Roll it like the way we roll chapati or roti. [not very thin or very thick / we will not be cooking on both sides , so it should not be thick ]
Lay it on a thick bottom tava.
Spread the pizza sauce.
Now add or arrange the toppings as you desire .
Cover the whole topping with loads of grated cheese.
Drizzle few drops of olive oil .
Cover and keep the tava on medium flame for 2 mins .
Lower the flame and cook further .
Cover and cook until the cheese has melted and the base has cooked too.
Lift it with a spatula to check if it is cooked
Once done sprinkle mixed herbs / oregano + chilli flakes . Drizzle tomato ketchup.
Cut it with scissors and serve hot.
