Why non veg always has to be spicy and full of masala ? Here is a recipe where chicken is just marinated in 2 ingredients. Kids luv it.Goes well with any dip (Sauce , mayo etc).

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 to 3 Chicken breast halves
  • 2 – 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 – 2 tsp freshly ground black pepper [as per taste]
  • Salt as per taste

METHOD

Clean, wash and drain the chicken .

Pat dry it there should be no moisture.

Slit the chicken breast in half length wise to get 2 thin halves [as shown in pic] this reduces the cooking time.

Season it with salt, pepper and 2 tbsp olive oil.

Let it marinate for minimum 1/2 an hour or overnight.

Heat a non-stick frying pan and drizzle little olive oil.

Place the chicken breasts on the pan and fry for 5 – 6 minutes on each side till its cooked or until the chicken breasts are lovely golden brown.

You can cover with a lid .

Once done on both sides , remove on absorbent paper.

Serve hot with any sauce , mayonnaise ,dips etc .

I served it with pizza topping sauce . It was awesome.

NOTE

  1. While frying you can also add little butter for more flavour.
  2. Even regular oil will do.
  3. You can add crushed garlic while frying.
  4. Sprinkle little mixed herbs or any herbs of your choice like oregano, rosemary etc
  5. Garnish with spring onions or parsley.
  6. Use kosher salt . if you have .
  7. Fry on medium high heat.
  8. Don’t over cook or it will become hard you have maintain the softness as it cooks.so remove once it cooks.
  9. You can also use garlic powder for seasoning.
  10. By slitting  you make the chicken  breast thin so that it cooks fast.
  11. You can also roll a rolling pin [belan ] over the chicken for even thickness
