Samosa sandwich
SAMOSA SANDWICH
INGREDIENTS [ chaat taste ]
- Samosa – if big 1 / if mini 2
- Bread slices – 4
- Sweet chutney – khajur aur imli ki chutney
- Green chutney – Green chutney recipe
- Butter
- Nylon sev
- finely chopped onion
METHOD
Take 2 slices of bread and apply butter on one side of each slice .
On one slice apply green chutney and on the other apply sweet chutney .
Press the samosa between palms and place it on one slice . [ here if you want ,drizzle both the chutneys on top of the samosa ]
Top it with some onion and sev .
Close it ,apply butter on outer side and toast it.
Toast it on both sides till golden brown and crisp .
Slice the sandwich , garnish with grated sev .
Serve with any sauces / chutney / dips.
INGREDIENTS [ PIZZA ]
- Bread slices – 2
- Samosa – if big 1 / if mini 2
- Butter
- Grated cheese
- Pizza or pasta sauce
- Any mayonnaise
- Chilli flakes
- Mixed herbs /oregano
METHOD
Take 2 slices of bread and apply butter on one side of each bread .
Now on one side apply mayo and on other side apply pasta or pizza sauce .
Press the samosa between your palms.
Top it with grated cheese .
Sprinkle chilli flakes and mixed herbs/ oregano .
Close it ,apply butter on outer side and toast it.
Toast it till crisp and golden brown.
Slice the sandwich ,garnish with grated cheese.
Serve with any sauces / chutney / dips.
NOTES
- I have used mini samosas.
- Adjust quantity of ingredients as per your taste .
- Applying butter is necessary so that the bread doesn’t become soggy because of the chutney.
