Sitaphal / Custard apple milkshake
SITAPHAL / CUSTARD APPLE MILKSHAKE
INGREDIENTS
- Sitaphal – 2 big [ ripe]
- Sugar if required to adjust sweetness
- Chilled milk – 2 or 2 ½ cup
- Vanilla ice cream – 1 or 2 scoop
PREPARATION
Scoop the flesh from the custard apple . Pulse beat [ 1 second gap ] the flesh with seeds in a mixie jar with 1 cup of milk. [ chk the video ]
The seeds will be separated from the flesh .
Transfer this to a plate and discard all seeds .[see that not a single seed is left ]
Now again transfer the pulp [ without seeds] to the mixie jar .
Add the remaining milk + vanilla ice cream and beat till frothy .
Pour it in a serving glass ,top it with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream and enjoy .
NOTES
- I did not add sugar as the ice cream is sweet .
- Adjust the thickness of the milkshake by increasing or decreasing the amount of milk .
- Use chilled milk as we are not adding ice cubes .
- Even the pulp you can refrigerate for some time .
