Ginger is among the healthiest (and most delicious) spices on the planet.

It is loaded with nutrients and bioactive compounds that have powerful benefits for your body and brain.

Ginger candy recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • Peeled and chopped Ginger – 1 cup
    Milk powder – 1 cup
    Sugar – 2 cup
    Fresh cream – 4 tbsp

METHOD

Grind ginger and fresh cream to a smooth paste.
Transfer to a bowl and add milk powder and sugar.
Mix well and keep aside for 15 mins till the sugar melt.
Heat a pan and add this mixture in the hot pan.
Stir and cook for 10 mins on low flame .
Cook till you get 2 string consistency.
Immediately transfer this mixture to a well greased tin or plate and flatten it with a spatula.
Allow it to cool.
Cut into desired shape.
Store in air tight container.

NOTES
Don’t over cook else the mixture will harden.
