Shahi khajur paan bites
SHAHI KHAJUR PAAN BITES
INGREDIENTS
- 20Paan / betel leaves [optional ]
- 20big dates / khajur
- 2 tbsp Mukhwas
- 2 tbspgulkand
- 2 tbspdesiccated coconut
- 2 tbspcolourful fennel seeds (saunf)
- 1 tsprose water
METHOD
Give slits to the dates with a knife , remove and discard the seeds .
Keep the dates aside.
Now in a mixing bowl take the mukhwas + gulkand + desiccated coconut + fennel seeds + rose water and mix well with clean hands .
Now stuff this mixture inside the khajurs .
Wrap it in the paan as shown in image .
Put it in the fridge for 2 or 3 hrs till it is chilled.
Shahi paan bites are ready to serve as mouth freshner .
NOTES
- You can also add 1/4 tsp of any flavoured paan chutney .
- Instead of rolling the dates in paan ,you can finely chop few paan leaves and mix it with the stuffing .
