EGGLESS OATS RAISINS COOKIES

INGREDIENTS

  • Oats – 3/4 cup
  • Maida / APF – 6 tbsp
  • Sugar – 3 tbsp
  • Brown sugar – 3 tbsp
  • Butter at room temperature -1/4 cup
  • Vanilla essence – 1/2 tsp
  • Cinnamon pwdr – 1/2 or 3/4 tsp
  • Black raisins /chocolate chips – 1/4 tsp
  • Baking soda – 1/4 tsp
  • Baking pwdr – 1/4 tsp

PREPARATION

Mix together oats + maida + baking pwdr + baking salt +cinnamon pwdr in a mixing bowl.

METHOD

In a mixie jar take brown sugar + sugar an pwdr it .

Now add the butter and blend well till creamy and fluffy.

Add the vanilla essence and pulse beat.

Add this to the oats mixture and mix till all ingredients blend together .

*** If the mixture is too dry add in 1 or 2 tsp of milk .

Now add in the raisins and mix .

Preheat the oven at 180* C – Convection mode and greas the baking tray .

Take a scoop of mixture using a tablespoon and rollit slightly into a small ball.

**don’t flatten it .

Arrange all the balls on the tray with a distance of 2 inch distance between the cookies as the cookies spread on baking .

Bake for 12 – 18 mins till the cookies turn golden and it puffs up.

*** don’t over bake .The cookies have to be crispy from outside and gooey from inside .If you over bake the cookies will be very crispy from inside and outside also

Allow the cookies to cool  down completely .

Only on cooling it will be crispy from outside .

Remove and store in airtight container .

NOTES

  1. You can make the dough and refrigerate and use it when ever required .
  2. If the dough is dry add milk as required.
  3. You can omit baking pwdr and ass 1 egg.
  4. Brown sugar gives a caramel taste to the cookies and enhances the colour of the cookies.
  5. If you don’t have brown sugar use regular sugar .
  6. You can add a tablespoon of desiccated coconut .
  7. Cinnamon pwdr enhances the flavour of the cookies.You can add upto 3/4 tsp .
