Greek salad
GREEK SALAD
INGREDIENTS
- Fresh curd – 2 tbsp.
- Olive oil – 1 ½ tbsp
- Minced garlic – 1 tsp
- Mixed herbs / oregano – 1 tsp
- Pepper pwdr – ½ tsp
- Lemon juice – 1 tsp
- Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Sugar – ½ tsp
- Chilli flakes – ¼ tsp
- Capsicum finely chopped – ¼ cup
- Bell peppers finely chopped – ¼ cup [ red / yellow ]
- Finely chopped onion – ¼ cup
- Deseeded tomato finely chopped – 1/4 cup
- Finely chopped cucumber – ¼ cup
- Small paneer cubes – ¼ cup
- Boiled corn – ¼ cup
- Boiled channa – ½ cup
- Finely chopped coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
METHOD
In a mixing bowl take oil + curd + garlic + herbs + pepper pwdr + lemon juice + mayo + salt sugar + chilli flakes and mix well .[ greek salad dressing is ready ]
Now add the other ingredients one by one and mix well .
Refrigerate for sometime and serve .
NOTES
- U can also added purple cabbage /boiled peanuts /paneer / cheese veges of choice etc
- Quantity of ingredients can be adjusted as per your taste.
- You can also roasted skinless peanuts for crunchiness .
- Non vegetarian can add stir fry boneless chicken pieces or boiled egg.
- You can add roasted cumin seeds pwdr for flavour
- Always use hands to mix the salad infact apply little pressure also , so that all the ingredients get mixed well and the flavour is infused.
- Chop the veges finely.
