Masala bread

Bread /pav masala

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 – 6 slices bread
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 tomato chopped
  • 2 green chilli chopped
  • 1/4 cup cabbage chopped
  • 1/4 cup capsicum chopped
  • 3 – 4 garlic finely chopped
  • 7- 8 curry leaves
  • 1 tsp Pav bhajimasala
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seed
  •  Salt totaste
  • 2 -3 tbsp. butter
  • Coriander leaves for garnish

METHOD

Cut or tear the bread slices into small pieces.

Then heat butter in a pan , add then cumin seed and let it crackle.

Add green chilli + garlic and saute . [don’t burn ]

Add onion and fry till light brown .

Add capsicum + cabbage stir fry for a few seconds.[don’t over cook ,it should have the crunch ]

Add chopped tomato+red chilli powder +pav bhaji masala and salt mix it well cook till it becomes a soft and pulpy.

Add little coriander leaves and mix.

Add bread and stir fry for a min,till all the bread pices are coated with the masala.

Finally  garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Serve hot .

** instead of bread ,we can use pav.
