INGREDIENTS
- Boiled green peas – 1 cup
- Maida – 1 cup
- Wheat flour / multigrain flour – 1 cup
- Ajwain – 1/2 tsp
- Roasted jeera – 1/2 tsp
- Sugar – 1/2tsp [oprtional ]
- Melted butter – 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil to deep fry
METHOD
Make paste of green peas .[don’t add water – if required drizzle little ]
Take maida + wheat flour + ajwain + jeera + sugar + salt + butter in a big plate .
Start mixing well with clean hands .
Add the green pea paste and start kneading .
No need to add water ,we will knead with the peas paste.
If you feel the dough is dry then drizzle little water to knead .
Knead it into a stiff dough .
Take a portion of the dough and roll it into a smooth ball.
Roll it into medium thick chapati using rolling pin.
Cut into desired shape or size .
Heat oil in a pan and slide in the namakpare .[don’t crowd the pan ]
Deep fry on both sides .
Fry till golden and crisp .
Drain and remove on absorbent paper .
Serve was snacks for tea time .
Store in air tight container .
