INSTANT GINGER LEMON PICKLE / LEMON GINGER CHUTNEY

Ingredients
• medium/ ½ kg lemon wash, wipe and pat dry
• 100 gms ginger washed and pat dry
• 2 cups sugar
• ½ packet pickle masala
• 3-4 tsp salt
• ¼ tsp asafoetida
METHOD
1. Cut the lemons into small pieces with skin. Make sure to remove all seeds.
2. Peel the skin of the ginger, and cut into small pieces.
3. Grind lemon and ginger pieces into fine paste.
4. In a mixing bowl remove the paste and add sugar, pickle masala, salt and asafoetida.
5. Mix everything nicely until it becomes like a puree.
6. Transfer the ready chutney in two into a glass jar and keep it in the sunlight for two days full.
7. Store in the Refrigerator after two days and enjoy the chutney with parathas, theplas,etc….
8. You can enjoy the chutney immediately.
