KESAR PEDA

Traditionally peda’s are prepared from khoya, mawa or milk based solid, however this recipe is an instant version prepared from milk powder .
Easy Kesar Pedas are one of the easiest Indian sweets to make at home during the festive season. The saffron brings in a lot of flavor
INGREDIENTS
METHOD
Heat ghee in a non stick pan on low flame .
Add the milk powder and mix well.
Stir and cook on low flame for 4 to 5 mins.
Colour should not change .
Add the milk + saffron mixture and mix well.
Now add the sugar well.
Stir and cook on medium to low flame.
Keep stirring continuously.
Cook till the mixture starts leaving the pan.
Off the gas and let it rest for 10 mins.
Divide the mixture into equal parts and roll into soft balls with smooth surface.
Garnish with pista and saffron
* I have used a peda mould .
