LEFTOVER KHICHDI PAKODA / LEFTOVER KHICHDI SNACK RECIPE

Ingredients

  • 2 Cup Leftover Khichdi
  • 1/2 Cup Besan
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp chaat masala pwdr
  • 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Green Chili paste
  • ¼ cup finely chopped leaves
  • 2 tsp white sesame seeds
  • Salt
  • Oil for Frying

METHOD

* You can use any khichdi like moongdal khichdi or masala khichdi etc.

Take the leftover khichdi in a plate .Remove any whole masalas or leaf if any .

Mash it well with your hands .

Add besan and all other ingredients one by one and mix well .

Divide into equal portions and roll it .

If time permits refrigerate for sometimes.

Heat oil for deep frying .

Now give any shape and deep fry it on medium flame  till golden and crisp all over .

Drain and remove on absorbent paper .

Serve hot with green chutney / sweet chutney

NOTE

  1. We can deep fry /shallow fry / fry in appe pan .
  2. We can make the mixture loose and make pancakes [ cheelas ]
  3. Adjust spices as per taste .
  4. I did not add much masalas , as i have used masala khichdi where i have added garam masala etc .
