TAVA CAKE RECIPE / PAN CAKE

Happy to share with all this recipe.
Made this tava cake in my natives [ Tamil Nadu ] during pandemic. Here I did not have any baking equipments – no oven ,no measuring cups ,no tin , no measuring spoons.
I used a steel bowl for baking tin .
For butter paper i used thick magazine / calendar paper
And for oven it was stove with tava .

NOTE –
METHOD
Heat a thick tava on high flame for 5 mins .
Meanwhile pour the batter in the tin laid with butter paper .
Tap it gently twice .
Now lower the flame and keep the tin on the tava .
Cover it with a lid .
Now bake it for 45 to 55 mins.
Check by inserting a point thing in middle , if it comes out clear then off the flame.
Remove the tin and allow it to cool for 10 mins.
Run a knife all around the edges to loosen the cake.
Slice the cake once it cools down completely .
