Tava / rolled ice cream
TAVA / ROLLED ICECREAM

INGREDIENTS
- Fresh cream – 1/2 cup
- Condensed milk – 1/4 cup
- Cocoa pwdr – 1 tbsp
- Baking tin OR big flat plate
- Dosa spatula
METHOD
Whip the cream for 2 mins .[ dont beat till stiff peak ]
Should be of pouring consistency.
Add condensed milk and mix well
Add cocoa pwdr and mix well .
Pour this in the tin and tap it.
Cover it with foil or cling wrap.
Freeze it for minimum 5 hrs or overnight .
Once done ,be quick in rolling as the icecream melts fast.
Use the spatula and run it under the icecream from the edge of the tin .
Carefully roll it into a spirals of rolled ice cream .
Use tongs and place it in the seving bowl .
Drizzle chocolate sauce and few choco chips and serve .
NOTES
- I have tried with little quantity .You can double the quantity .
- We can use heavy cream also – You have to add equal amount of milk with it .
- Use chilled bowls ,so that the icec cream doesn’t melt soon .
- Also freeze the spatula .
- The layer has to be thin .[ 1/4 th inch ]
- Instead of cocoa pwdr, we can use strawberry puree or any fruits puree , any food colour + essences .
- In shops mostly they add crushed cookies – bourbon etc.
- You can top it with whipped cream or any garnishing ingredients .
