EGG CHOP

INGREDIENTS

  • Hard boiled eggs – 2
  • Mashed potato – 2 cup
  • Red chilli pwdr – 1 tsp
  • Coriander pwdr – 2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
  • Beaten egg – 1
  • Bread crumbs as required
  • Oil to deep fry .

*** Instead of using different masalas ,I have used egg gravy masala pwdr as required .You can also use chicken masala pwdr .

PREPARATION .

  1. Boil the eggs for 10 – 12 mins and remove the shell .
  2. Slice each egg into 2 .
  3. Pressure cook 3 potatoes , remove the skin and mash it well ,there should be no lumps. It should be of smooth texture.
  4. Add chilli pwdr + coriander pwdr + turmeric + garam masala pwdr to the mashed potato and mix well.
  5. Beat 1 egg in a bowl and keep aside.
  6. Take bread crumbs in a plate .

METHOD

Take a big portion of mashed potato ,roll it into a ball and flatten it .

Place the egg in the centre and bring the edges in the middle.

Roll it well , so the the egg is covered from all sides .

Dip it in beaten egg and roll in bread crumbs .

See that it is coated on all sides with the bread crumbs.

Egg chop is ready to fry .

** you can refrigerate and use it when required .

Heat oil in  pan .

Slide in the chops and fry it from all sides till golden .

Serve hot with any chutney or sauces .
