AMLA JUICE RECIPE

Studies reveal that regular intake of amla helps in lowering blood pressure and also helps in reducing the effects of cardiovascular diseases. The abundance of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals specially potassium in the Indian gooseberry makes this fruit truly notable for a high blood pressure diet.

It is best to have amla juice first thing in the morning. 

 It clears your system, aids in digestion helps in maintaining clear skin, healthy hair and good eyesight.

Amla has a rich content of chromium which helps reduce bad cholesterol. It is anti-ageing, helps in digestion, and reduces the risk of getting heart diseases, among many others. With better digestion and better bowel movement, your metabolism will boost up, thus eventually leading to the burning of belly fat.

INGREDIENTS

  • Amla – 1
  • Ginger – a small piece
  • Lemon juice – 2 tsp
  • Water – 1 cup
  • Pinch of black pepper pwdr
  • Pinch of black salt

METHOD

Cut the amla along the lines and take out the wedges . Discard the  seed.

Chop them into small pieces .

Take the chopped amla + ginger and grind.

 Now add ½ cup water and grind well into fine puree .

Add remaining water +  black salt + lemon juice + black powder and mix well.

Strain and serve immediately .

Consume it is on an empty stomach in the morning.
