HEALTHY SUGARFREE GRANOLA BAR

INGREDIENTS
- Date with seeds – 1 cup
- Almond milk or regular milk – ½ cup
- Desiccated coconut – 1 cup
- Peanut butter – ¼ cup
- Oats – 1
- Walnut chopped – ¼ cup
- Flax seed pwdr – 2 tbsp [optional ]
- Mixed dry fruits chopped – ¼ cup
- Almond pwdr – ¼ cup
- Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
- Cinnamon pwdr – ½ tsp
PREPARATION
- Soak the dates for 1 hr and once it is soaked ,drain off the excess water .
- Grind / blend the soaked dates + almond/regular milk + peanut butter + vanilla essence till smooth .This is the wet mixture .
- We can extract almond milk by ginding soaked almonds with water .
- Preheat oven at * 180C
- Grease and line a baking tray .
METHOD
Take a bowl ,add oats + desiccated ccocnut + almond pwdr + chopped dry fruits + flax seed pwdr + cinnamon pwdr and mix well .This is the dry mixture .
Slowly add the wet mixture into the dry mixture and combine it well with clean hands .
Pour the mixture into the baking tray and spread it evenly .
Sprinkle some dry fruits /sesame seeds /choco chips on top .
Bake it for 20 to 25 mins till the mixture sets evenly .
Also the colour of the edges will turn golden .
Don’t over bake .
Once done allow it to cool .
Now slice into any desired shapes and serve.
Store it in an airtight container in fridge .
