HEALTHY SUGARFREE GRANOLA BAR

HEALTHY SUGARFREE GRANOLA BARS

INGREDIENTS

  • Date with seeds – 1 cup
  • Almond milk or regular milk – ½ cup
  • Desiccated coconut – 1 cup
  • Peanut butter – ¼ cup
  • Oats – 1
  • Walnut chopped – ¼ cup
  • Flax seed pwdr – 2 tbsp [optional ]
  • Mixed dry fruits chopped – ¼ cup
  • Almond pwdr – ¼ cup
  • Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon pwdr – ½ tsp

PREPARATION

  1. Soak the dates for 1 hr and once it is soaked ,drain off the excess water .
  2. Grind / blend the soaked dates + almond/regular milk + peanut butter + vanilla essence till smooth  .This is the wet mixture .
  3. We can extract almond milk by ginding soaked almonds with water .
  4. Preheat oven at * 180C
  5. Grease and line a baking tray .

METHOD

Take a bowl ,add oats + desiccated ccocnut + almond pwdr + chopped dry fruits + flax seed pwdr + cinnamon pwdr and mix well .This is the dry mixture .

Slowly add the wet mixture into the dry mixture and combine it well with clean hands .

Pour the mixture into the baking tray and spread it evenly .

Sprinkle some dry fruits /sesame seeds /choco chips on top .

Bake it for 20 to 25 mins till the mixture sets evenly .

Also the colour of the edges will turn golden .

Don’t over bake .

Once done allow it to cool .

Now slice into any desired shapes and serve.

Store it in an airtight container in fridge .
