HOME MADE CHEESE

INGREDIENTS
- Ghee made from cow milk – 100 gms
- Milk powder – 2 tbsp
- Corn flour – 1 tbsp
- Baking soda – 1/4 tsp
- Cheese essence – 1/2 tsp
- Citric acid powder – 1/8 tsp
- Salt – 1/4 tsp
METHOD
Heat ghee in a pan . Take a pan which we can use to beat the mixture .
Once the ghee cools down , keep it over a bigger bowl / plate with ice cubes .
Add rest of the ingredients one by one and start beating with a beater till smooth paste is formed.
Transfer it to a greased box and refrigerate till it sets – 8 to 10 hrs.
Once it is set well , you can use it .
Homemade cheese is ready to use .
VARIATION
Instead of keeping the ghee bowl over ice cubes ,you can add ice cubes in the ghee mixture and beat .the cheese will separate .
NOTES
- Cheese essence is easily available in the stores where you buy baking materials .
- Use powdered citric acid powdered form ,else it will not melt .
