Muskmelon smoothie / juice
MUSKMELON / CANTALOUPE / KHARBUJA SMOOTHIE
INGREIDENTS
- 1 cup of sweet muskmelon pieces.
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice.
- Sugar as required depending on the sweetness of the fruit .
- Pinch of black pepper powder. [optional ]
- 1/2 cup chilled water .
- Cherry and papaya pieces for garnishing.
- Tall glass to serve
PREPARATION
Peel the skin and discard the seeds of muskmelon .Chop it into small cubes .
METHOD
Blend papaya pieces + fresh lemon juice, sugar (optional) to adjust taste + pinch of black pepper powder + 1/2 cup cold water in blender or food processor.
Blend until smooth.
Garnish and serve .
NOTE:
- Use chilled ingredients so that there is no need to add ice cubes, as ice cubes will change the texture of the juice by making it watery.
- Instead of sugar we can use honey.
- For rich taste use condensed milk .
- Y not blend with a scoop of vanilla cream.
