Papad katori / bowl
PAPAD KATORI / BOWL [oil free ]
INGREDIENTS
- Big or small papads as required
- Microwave safe bowl of any size
- Any salads which you want to serve in it
*** I have used lizzat papad of big size for this bowl ,I used 1 1 /2 papad .
METHOD
Grease the microwave bowl with oil .
Dip the papad in water for 2 or 3 seconds until soft .
Place it on a kitchen towel and pat dry – there should be no moisture .
Gently lay the wet papads into the greased bowl ,
Lay it in such a way that the corners are covered .
Press it in the centre and try to shape it with fingers .
Microwave it for just 1 minute on high .
Check if the papads are roasted from all sides .If the papads are not cooked well ,microwave it for more 30 seconds .
Be careful don’t burn the papad.
Once done , remove it and allow it to cool .
On cooling it will become crisp .
Now serve any stuffing /bhel /salad / chaat etc in it .
