STIR FRY VEG SALAD

It’s an easy way to integrate more veggies in your diet and makes your food look more colourful and bright .
Stir-frying is a great way to lose weight without having to suffer through the typical boring, tasteless, low-fat meals. My Stir-fry meal recipes are quick and easy to prepare, delicious, and nutritious.

Stir-frying results in tender-crisp vegetables that retain more nutrients than if they were boiled. And since stir-frying generally requires only a small amount of oil, the fat content is relatively low.
Stir-fried foods retain the majority of their nutrients since they aren’t heated quite as much as deep-fried foods. That makes this cooking method a far healthier choice.

INGREDIENTS FOR SALAD
- Deseeded tomatoes chopped – ½ cup [remove the pulp ]
- Zucchini green or yellow – chopped – 1/2 cup
- Cabbage chopped – 1 cup
- Onion chopped – ½ cup
- Broccoli – 1/2 cup
- Red and yellow bell pepper chopped – ½ cup
- Capsicum – ½ cup
- Boiled corn or green peas – 1/4 cup
- Lemon juice – 1 or 2 tsp [ as required – optional ]
- Mixed herbs or oregano – 1 tsp
- Pepper pwdr – 1/2 tsp
- Salt as per taste
- Olive oil – 1 tbsp
METHOD
Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a pan and add all the veges together ,toss and stir fry for 5 to 6 minutes. [veges should not become soft ,they should be crunchy ]

Mix well by tossing.
finally add pepper pwdr + mixed herbs + chilli flakes + salt and give a nice mix and off the flame.
Drizzle lemon juice as needed . [ optional ]
Salad is ready to serve. Always add some proteins to the salad in the form of chicken / egg/ soya chunks / tofu etc

NOTES
- I have added purple cabbage .
- You can add any cheese or paneer .
- You can add veges of your choice.
- Quantity of ingredients can be adjusted as per your taste.
- U can also little sugar.
- You can also boiled peanuts.
- You can add boiled egg.
- You can add vinegar or minced garlic or roasted cumin seeds pwdr for flavour.

NOTES
- Cut the vegetables into thin or into small pieces so that they cook quickly.
- If the pieces are not evenly thick, they will cook unevenly.
- Keep flipping regularly to avoid burning and sticking it to the bottom of a pan.
- Either stir using a spoon or keep tossing .
- Vegetables like carrot and cabbage take some time to cook so you can par boil or steam them before you put them in the wok.
- Avoid butter .
- Serve the stir fried food right immediately .
