INSTANT MOONG DAL CHAAT / MOONG DAL SALAD 

Instant moong dal chaat recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • Fried moong dal  – 1 cup
  • Boiled / roasted peanut – ¼  cup
  • Finely chopped onion – 1 small
  • Finely chopped tomato – 1 small [ remove the pulpy part ]
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
  • Green chilly finely chopped – 1
  • Red chilli pwdr – ½ tsp
  • Chaat masala – 1 or 1 ½ tsp
  • Grated carrot or finely chopped cucumber – ½ cup
  • Pomegranate – ¼ cup [optional ]
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp or as per taste
  • Salt a pinch
  • Fine nylon sev for garnish
  • Khatti meethi tamarind chutney / honey – 1 tbsp or as required
  • Salt to taste

METHOD

Take all ingredients one by one in a bowl and mix well as shown in video .

serve immediately for evening snacks .

NOTES

  1. Add ingredients as per your taste . Also adjust quantity of each ingredients as per your likes.
  2. Be careful ,while adding salt as fried moong dal already has salt .
  3. Y not add melted butter for more flavour .
  4. V can also add grated beetroot  / boiled potato etc .
  5. Instead of red chilli pwdr , v can use pepper pwdr or chilli flakes .
