SABUDANA BENEFITS – It keeps your blood pressure low and controlled- it contains a decent amount of potassium that helps to keep your BP in check. It promotes healthy blood flow and lowers the strain in your heart. Helps fight birth defects- sabudana is a rich source of vitamin b6 and folate, that helps in proper development of the fetus.
Sabudana has a good amount of dietary fibre that helps to rebalance the healthy gut bacteria. It also helps to prevent digestion issues, relieves gas, bloating and constipation.

METHOD
Heat a non stick pan with 1 tbsp ghee .
Add the cashews and fry on medium flame . Colour should not change much .
Drain and keep aside.
Add the sago mixture .
Keep stirring continously , so that no lumps are formed.
Stir and cook for 5 – 6 mins on low flame.
Add the sugar , mix well.
Stir and cook for 5 mins on low flame .
Add food colour and give a mix .
Add 2 tsp ghee + cashews and give a mix.
Stir and cook for 1 or 2 mins on low flame till the halwa starts leaving the pan .
Off the flame and keep it covered for 10 mins.
Serve hot .
It tastes good when hot .
