ARBI CHAAT / KACCHALU CHAAT

Arbi chaat

INGREDIENTS

  • 500gms arbi/ kachaloo
    5 tbsp imli
    1 OR 2 tbsp jaggery
    Salt tp taste
    1 tsp red chilli powder
    1 tsp roasted  jeera powder
    1/2 tsp black salt/ chat masala
    2 tsp ginger fine chopped
    1 tsp green chilies fine chopped
    2 – 3 tbsp chopped onions
    Chopped coriander and mint leaves

METHOD

Wash, clean, pressure cook arbi for 2 whistles with 1 tsp salt.
Allow to cool.
Remove boiled arbi on a strainer, Peel and cut into big roundles.
Boil the imli with jaggery with 1/2 cup water.
Let it cool…strain the thick pulp.
In a mixing bowl…mix all the ingredients.
