SINDHI DAL MOONG [ Ulhasnagar special ]

METHOD
Boil moong dal with 1.5 cups of water, salt, little turmeric + 1 green chili + asafoetida .Cook till soft . [ cook with less water ]
Same way cook whole moong in pressure cooker with 1 green chilli + salt + asfoetida for 2 – 3 whistles.
In a serving bowl add hot yellow daal at one side. Pour hot moong at another side.[ as shown in the pic ]
Spread slices of potatoes and beetroot….drizzle enough chutney all over as per taste .
Sprinkle all dry masalas on top…..
Heat oil in a tadka pan, add jeera and let it crackle
Pour over daal.
Serve hot with koki
