- Wheat flour – 3 cup
- Finely chopped coriander leaves –1 cup
- Ginger + garlic + green chilli paste – 1 tbsp
- Roasted jeera pwdr – ½ tsp [optional ]
- Turmeric pwdr – ½ tsp
- Kasoori methi pwdr – ½ tsp
- Chaat masala – ½ tsp
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Heat oil in a small pan , add ginger + garlic + green chilli paste and fry for few seconds .Add turmeric pwdr and mix well . Off the flame . [ don’t burn ]
Take the wheat flour + coriander leaves + salt + chaat masala+ jeera pwdr + kasoori methi pwdr + fried ginger garlic chilli turmeric mixture in a big plate and mix well with hands.
Add little water at a time and knead it into a smooth + firm dough . [ no need to add oil as we have fried the ginger paste in oil it is enough ]
Cover the dough and keep aside for sometime .
Divide the dough into equal portions and roll it it into smooth ball.
Roll a round circle ,by dusting flour .
Place it on a hot tava , flip and cook it on both the sides .
Smear little ghee or oil on both the sides
Cook till it puffs up and brown spots appear.
Parathas are ready to be served.
Serve with pickle /curd /chutneys /raita /etc etc of your choice .
