ANDA PAV recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • Hard boiled eggs – 2 – How to boil eggs
  • Pav or bread as required
  • Chaat masala pwdr
  • Red chilli pwdr – ¼ tsp
  • Garam masala pwdr – ¼ tsp OR kitchen king masala – 1/2 tsp
  • Pav bhaji masala – ¼ tsp
  • Finely chopped onions – ¼ cup
  • Very finely coriander leaves as required for garnish
  • Butter + oil – 1 or 2 tsp

METHOD

Boil the eggs for 10  to 12 mins. Cool it cold water  , remove the shell and slice it into 2 . – How to boil eggs

Heat a tava and spread the oil + butter all over the tava .

Lower the flame and sprinkle the chaat masala + garam masala + red chilli pwdr + pav bhaji masala + salt .

Place the egg in the centre , upside down with the yolk portion facing the tava .

On the sides place the slit pav to toast it .

Toast the egg and bread on both the sides .

Off the flame once they have browned .

****While toasting ,try rubbing the pav /bread on the tava so that it absorbs all the masalas sprinkle on the tava.

Take the pav and place the egg slices .

Spread a layer of onions + coriander leaves .

Sprinkle little chaat masala.

Serve hot .

NOTES

  1. Adjust masalas as per your taste .
  2. You can also add roasted jeera pwdr.
